Some of the Biblical Proofs For The Threeness of God – the Trinity of Persons are:
A. Denied by J.Ws, Unitarians, Socinians and all heathen religions.
- Heathendom can never know God as triune,
a. He can be known as such only through His Word.
b. Creation reveals that God is, but not what God is.
2. The problem for many is that they cannot reconcile the ONE-ness of God with the THREE-ness of God.
a. They deny that God can be 1 and 3 at the same time; arguing that this is a logical contradiction that the rationality of faith cannot receive.
b. Because of this denial they MUST, and do, also deny the divinity of Christ.
- For He is the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity.
- If there is no tri-personal God then Christ’s true divinity is a lie.
- This is one of the ways in which the faith is attacked and denied by the spirit of antichrist.
B. Scripture teaches that the Son and Holy Spirit are co-equal, co-eternal God with the Father. It does so not only in those passages that speak directly, but also by good and necessary consequence – by ascribing to the Son and the Spirit those names, attributes, works and worship that are due unto God alone. Here are but a few of the instances…

- Angels worship Him – Heb. 1:6.
- Baptism is to be performed in His name.
2. The Holy Spirit also is seen to be personally God as He is:
a. Referred to as a Personal being –
- Spirit = neuter noun but takes the masculine pronoun to personally identify him (John 16:13 ff).
- Rational, knowledge, intelligence,1 Cor. 2:10-11.
- Moral, willing, subject of his own acts, 1 Cor. 12:11
